Parking-jam colour puzzle

Taxi Rank Rush

Clear the rank. Fill the taxis. Sho’t left!

The lot is jammed and the commuters are waiting. Tap each taxi to drive it out the way it faces, park it in the loading bay, and watch the queue climb into the taxi of their colour. Plan your moves: if the bay fills up with the wrong taxis, the rank jams.

Taxi Rank Rush: a jammed lot of colourful minibus taxis below a loading bay, with a queue of commuters on the pavement
Actual development screenshot. The game may change before release.

How to play

Tap. Park. Board.

  1. Drive them out

Each taxi drives straight ahead the way it faces. If something is in the way it bumps and hoots, so clear the blockers first.

  2. Fill the bay

Taxis that get out park in the loading bay. The commuter at the front of the queue climbs into a taxi of their colour, and full taxis hoot and leave.

  3. Don’t jam the rank

The bay has only a few slots. Bring the colours the queue needs next, or the rank jams. Undo, the Tow Truck and an extra bay slot help when you’re stuck.

What’s inside

Eight cities. Hundreds of ranks.

A tour of South Africa

Start on Bree Street in Johannesburg, then on to Soweto, Durban’s beachfront, Cape Town, Pretoria, Gqeberha, Polokwane and Bloemfontein, each with its own skyline.

New twists as you go

Minibuses that seat six, mystery taxis, skorokoros that won’t start, hawkers, gogos who need two seats, boom gates, robots and load shedding. Hard and Super Hard levels test the best drivers.

Pimp your taxi

Paint, Ndebele and Rainbow Nation liveries, chrome rims, roof racks, stickers, hooters, leopard seat covers, fuzzy dice, LEDs and your own radio station. More vibe earns more coins. Plus a Daily Rush with a streak and a star chest.

The game is free with ads: optional rewarded ads to continue after a jam, double your coins or get a free booster, and an occasional full-screen ad between levels (never before level 10, at most once every three wins). There are no purchases. Read the privacy notice for details.
